Proxa Fit — Privacy Policy

Proxa Fit ("the app", "we", "us") is a fitness app published by ProxaAI. This policy explains what the app collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and your choices.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to provide the app's features:

• Account — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID via Google Sign-In / Firebase Authentication.
• Profile & onboarding — name, gender, date of birth, height, preferred units, training focus, fitness level, and daily step goal.
• Health & fitness data you create — body measurements (weight, circumferences, custom metrics), workout sessions and the sets you log, progress photos you capture, and your reminder/app preferences.
• Activity data from Health Connect (optional) — with your permission, the app reads daily steps, distance, calories, floors, walk/run exercise sessions, and body-composition readings (weight, body-fat %, lean and water mass) from Android Health Connect. You can grant or revoke this at any time; the app works without it.
• App settings — preferences such as theme and reminder times.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no ads.

How we use your data

Solely to operate the app for you: build and track your workout plan, record measurements and progress, compute your activity and Momentum reports, deliver the reminders you set, and sync your data across your own devices.

Storage and syncing

Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to your private space in Google Firebase (Firestore database, and Cloud Storage for photos). Each user's data is owner-scoped — only your signed-in account can read or write it. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Sharing

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Your data is processed only by Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage) and read from Google Health Connect (with your permission) to deliver the app. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

Your choices and rights

• Health Connect: grant or revoke access anytime in the app or in Health Connect settings.
• Delete your account and all data: in the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your data from your device and from our Firebase storage, and deletes your authentication account.

Data retention

We retain your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your local and cloud data are deleted.

Children

Proxa Fit is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the revised version here with a new date.
